Delegates (Officers & Directors)

The SAUSBCA Delegates (Officers & Directors) consists of Thirteen (13) Board members who all volunteers for the duty position that they serve, in our local bowling Association.  The Delegates, bowlers, youth committee representatives elect the board members for SAUSBCA, during our annual board meeting, if a position is up for election/re-election, etc.  Bowling center(s) Proprietors (Owners/Managers) have a voice during our meeting, but DO NOT have a voice on any Association voting.  

We have a President, Vice President, Association Manager and ten (10) Directors.  As a sanctioned league bowler, you are eligible to volunteer to join the SAUSBCA Board of Directors.  The term of office for the above is two (2) years.  All delegates are elected as stated above.

The Board holds a quarterly meeting every year on the first (1st) Sunday of the month on a rotating basis between the bowling centers (The Flightline Lanes, Fort Novosel, AL and Bowl Weevil Lanes, LLC Enterprise, AL).

We are the link between the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), Alabama USBC Association and all sanctioned league (bowlers) players.  SAUSBCA is responsible for:

• Inspect and certify each bowling centers (within the Association)(Currently awaiting guidance from USBC) 
   
• Inspect and certify all honor scores bowled (leagues and tournaments)
   
• Organize and conduct Annual City Tournament (Youth and Adult)
   
• Provide assistance to all leagues when needed for such purposes as league sanctions, rules, disputes, etc.

The SAUSBCA is not a dues paying Association.  Your USBC (sanction) membership card is all you need to be a Board member.

As a Board member, you would be required to attend annual, quarterly meetings at the designated bowling center and help, if asked, at any function of the Association.  If you have any question, concerns or comments/suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us.  Listed below is your Association Officers, Directors and Bowling Centers Proprietors.
