About Hall of Fame - Women

Hall of Fame - Women

Election to the USBC Hall of Fame is the highest honor USBC can bestow upon extraordinary contributors to the sport, on and off the lanes.

The USBC Hall of Fame is the result of a merger of the American Bowling Congress Hall (founded in 1941) and the Women's International Bowling Congress Hall (founded in 1953).  Under the USBC, the Hall is governed by the USBC Hall of Fame Committee.

Through 2012, there are 396 Hall of Fame members in four categories:

  • Superior Performance (262)*
  • Meritorious Service (114)
  • Pioneer (20)

* Includes one (1) inductee in the Outstanding USBC Performance category, which  was introduced in 2011 with Jeff Richgels as the inaugural member.

The USBC Hall of Fame has its home at the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame on the International Bowling Campus in Arlington, Texas.  The induction ceremony is held annually in the spring.
